Coinbase Unveils UK Derivatives Suite with Up to 50x Leverage

Coinbase is expanding its UK business by offering professional investors derivatives products through its 'Everything Exchange' strategy.

The suite includes perpetual contracts, dated futures, and crypto options covering over 170 contracts across various asset classes, such as cryptocurrencies, commodities, equities, and foreign exchange.

Perpetual contracts will offer up to 50x leverage and trade around the clock, while dated futures have fixed settlement dates with up to 20x leverage.

The addition of derivatives aims to broaden Coinbase's business beyond spot cryptocurrency trading and provide professional clients with more complex volatility and hedging strategies.
