Coincheck and DFNS Team Up to Bring Institutional Crypto Custody to Japan

Coincheck Group and DFNS have formed a partnership to bring institutional-grade crypto custody services to Japan.

The collaboration aims to deploy DFNS's wallet infrastructure at Coincheck's Japanese subsidiary, enabling it to provide secure and compliant custody solutions for financial institutions in the country.

According to Pascal St-Jean, CEO of Coincheck Group, extending their services into institutional markets requires a different class of custody infrastructure.

Clarisse Hagège, CEO of DFNS, added that Japan's trust banks set a high bar globally for institutional custody and they are pleased to work alongside Coincheck Group in bringing their wallet technology to the Japanese market.
