CoinDCX User Loses ₹27,500 in Web3 Swap Due to Slippage Issue
A CoinDCX user claims that a recent Web3 swap involving ₹27,500 resulted in only 0.007 BSTOCKS being received after the transaction was completed on-chain.
The user, who goes by the handle Saharsh on X, says the interface displayed a quote of over 200,000 tokens before confirmation, but the actual output differed significantly from this expectation.
The transaction involved a multi-hop route through FUEL and BSC-USD before reaching BSTOCKS via the 1inch Aggregation Router V6. The user argues that the lack of an effective slippage safeguard contributed to the discrepancy between what appeared on the screen and what ultimately reached the wallet.
CoinDCX's support material acknowledges that users can customize slippage settings for Web3 swaps, but the company does not provide clear information on how this setting impacts execution conditions. The disputed transaction highlights the need for transparency in execution limits before a user confirms a trade.
