CoinEx Ceases Operations Amid Market Downturn and Regulatory Pressures

Share

Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx has announced it will cease operations due to prolonged downturn in the market and rising regulatory requirements. In a statement, CoinEx said it maintained an asset reserve ratio of more than 100% and all user assets were fully backed and available for withdrawal.

The decision comes as a result of the company's struggle to stay afloat amidst the challenging market conditions. Regulatory pressures have been increasing in the industry, forcing many exchanges to reassess their operations.
