CoinEx Trading Platform to Shut Down Amid Downturn

Share

CoinEx, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will shut down its trading platform due to prolonged market downturn and declining trading volumes. The exchange stopped accepting new users as of September 15.

Beyond that date, CoinEx will gradually suspend services. On September 22, futures and margin trading will cease, while on September 29, spot trading will be unavailable.

The company emphasized that its reserves exceed 100% and that user funds are fully secured. Users can withdraw their assets until December 22, 2026. Any remaining funds will then be transferred to a separate paid storage service with a monthly fee of 5%.
