CoinGecko Launches Stonks Page for Memecoins
CoinGecko has rolled out a new feature called the Stonks page, which indexes memecoins paired to tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain and compares each token's price action directly to its reference equity.
The Stonks page provides real-time data on these memecoins, allowing users to track their performance in relation to the underlying stock. This feature is live for HOOD, with other assets expected to be added soon.
CoinGecko's co-founder and COO Bobby Ong mentioned the launch of the Stonks page, but no further details were provided about future plans or the potential impact on the market.
