CoinGecko Tracks Over 200 Tokenized ETFs and Conventional Financial Products
CoinGecko has expanded its platform to track over 200 exchange-traded funds (ETFs), including tokenized versions of conventional financial products. This move includes traditional crypto-focused ETFs and tokenized equities, bonds, commodities like gold and silver, all represented as digital tokens on blockchain networks.
The new ETF category covers more than 126 entries with a collective market capitalization of roughly $599 million. Among the notable listings are products from Ondo Finance, which has been one of the more aggressive issuers in the tokenized ETF space.
Ondo's lineup includes IVVON, a tokenized version of the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF, and IBITON, a tokenized take on the iShares Bitcoin Trust. These products offer fractional ownership, 24/7 settlement, and the ability to trade traditional financial instruments without waiting for the New York Stock Exchange to open.
CoinGecko's RWA play has given developers and institutional users programmatic access to pricing, volume, and performance data for these on-chain instruments. This expansion creates a single aggregation layer that didn't previously exist, allowing users to track the performance of tokenized products against their traditional counterparts.
