CoinMarketCap Bolsters API with RWA Data Feeds for Tokenized Assets

CoinMarketCap has expanded its professional API suite to include seven new data feeds dedicated to real-world assets (RWA), such as tokenized stocks, Treasury bonds, ETFs, and real estate. This move aims to provide developers and institutional clients with granular market data for the rapidly growing tokenized asset sector.

The newly added APIs allow users to track tokenized asset prices, market capitalization, and 24-hour trading volume for each instrument. Additionally, the feeds include details on issued on-chain tokens, trading venues, and issuer information, giving developers a comprehensive view of the RWA market.

This development comes as the tokenization of traditional financial assets gains momentum, with major financial institutions and blockchain projects exploring ways to bring assets like U.S. Treasuries, equities, and real estate onto distributed ledgers.
