Coinme Taps Fintech Veteran for Global Expansion

Coinme has hired Laurent Reichert as its new Chief Compliance Officer to oversee the expansion of its licensed fiat on- and off-ramp network internationally. The appointment comes as Coinme prepares to integrate with Polygon Labs' Open Money Stack after a regulatory close of their acquisition agreement.

Reichert brings nearly 20 years of experience in building and scaling compliance programs at fintech and crypto companies, including Paxos, Nium, and WorldRemit. He has led high-growth compliance organizations, overseen trillions in payment volume, and built regulated infrastructure across multiple continents.

Coinme's existing network of licensed fiat on- and off-ramps will serve as the foundation for Reichert's efforts to expand into new international markets.
