CoinZoom Debit Card Spending Surges Amid High Inflation Costs

Share

High inflation has pushed gas prices above $4 a gallon nationally since April, while grocery prices remain 23% higher than three years ago. This economic reality has driven growth in CoinZoom's crypto debit card spending, as users seek ways to offset costs.

The company reported that card transactions have increased significantly, with the average number of transactions per active cardholder roughly tripled over the same period. On average, each CoinZoom debit card user earned $150 a month in rewards on their card spending during the first half of 2026.

CoinZoom's founder and CEO, Todd Crosland, said that at today's gas prices, earning up to $100 in rewards can cover roughly two full tanks. This is 'a real number' for many households, he emphasized.
