Coldcard Attackers Move Funds Amid Unresolved Theft
The largest known Coldcard attacker has been identified as controlling 1,159 BTC across seven addresses.
Despite being a significant amount of cryptocurrency, none of the funds have entered mixers or been transferred to an identifiable cash-out service.
A separate attacker, however, has started routing smaller amounts through a mixer. On-chain investigators detected 64 BTC entering a transaction flow linked to a mixer.
The activity appears to be separate from the seven-address cluster holding 1,159 BTC and raises questions about the number of attackers involved in exploiting the Coldcard vulnerability.
