Coldcard Hacker Moves $7.8M in Stolen Bitcoin Through THORChain and CoinJoin
The hacker behind the third attack on Bitcoin hardware wallet Coldcard has moved 45% of the stolen assets, worth around $7.8 million in total.
This recent move follows a pattern where the attacker swaps and moves Bitcoin through THORChain and CoinJoin, as reported by Galaxy Research.
The affected wallets hold a combined 30.81 BTC, with another 233 smaller wallets containing 33.77 BTC.
In total, about $143.9 million in losses have been tied to the Coldcard firmware flaw, with approximately 82% of stolen assets remaining at their original addresses.
