Coldcard's Mk3 signing device has been linked to an unexplained Bitcoin wallet drain worth approximately $38.3 million.

The affected wallets have seed phrases generated on firmware version 4.0.1 or later, including the final supported version, 5.0.3.

CoinKite, the Canadian hardware maker behind Coldcard, has warned users to move their funds from these wallets and generate a new seed on an unaffected device.

The company is currently investigating the issue and will provide a formal technical review in due course.
