Compound Unveils Institutional Lending Platform with Enhanced Loan Terms

Compound has launched its Institutional Market, a lending platform designed for large institutional borrowers and lenders. The market offers higher loan-to-value ratios on four curated collateral assets: ETH, wstETH, WBTC, and cbBTC.

The platform is built on Compound v3 and provides dedicated support for participating institutions. Each institution has a point of contact responsible for communications regarding new market deployments, parameter changes, and protocol notifications.

Early USDC suppliers to the market receive the prevailing lending yield plus limited incentives. The announcement noted that capacity for the incentive program closes once filled.
