Core Network's Split Delegation Upgrade Gives Stakers More Flexibility
Core Network recently introduced split delegation as part of its Core Network Upgrade 1.0.4, allowing CORE token holders to divide their staked tokens across multiple validators without losing daily rewards.
This feature gives everyday stakers more control over risk and reward, removing the penalty for redelegating between validators that existed before.
With split delegation, stakers can now delegate to one validator and redelegate part of their stake to a different validator while continuing to earn rewards during the switch.
This is especially beneficial for larger stakeholders who can spread their exposure across multiple validators, reducing concentration risk and enabling real-time rebalancing in response to changing commission rates or Hybrid Scores.
Split delegation also interacts with Core's Dual Staking system, which lets holders stake both BTC and CORE to unlock boosted Bitcoin staking yields based on set CORE-to-BTC ratios.
