CoreWeave Stock Set for Potential Surge Amid Analyst Optimism
CoreWeave's stock price has dropped by around 20% over the past three months, but analysts are still optimistic about its future. Despite this decline, the company's stock could potentially surge by as much as 65% or more from its current levels.
The NASDAQ-listed firm (CRWV) has been trading between $70 and $90 in recent times, with consensus analyst price targets ranging from $127 to $136. Some projections even go as high as $250.
CoreWeave was initially founded as Atlantic Crypto in 2017, focusing on Ethereum GPU mining. However, after the 2018 crypto crash, the company pivoted towards cloud computing and high-performance services in 2019, leveraging its expertise for the growing AI market.
The firm has since built out data centers across the US and Europe, positioning itself as a specialized alternative to major hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The company's recent attempt to acquire Core Scientific was terminated after shareholders declined to approve it in October 2025.
