CoreWeave Surges on Strong Q2 Earnings as AI Demand Outpaces Crypto
CoreWeave (CRWV) shares rose by 16% in pre-market trading on Wednesday after delivering stronger growth and increasing its full-year outlook.
The AI infrastructure provider reported second-quarter revenue of $2.58 billion, surpassing expectations and narrowly beating analyst forecasts.
The company's net loss of $626 million was smaller than projected, and CoreWeave forecast third-quarter sales of $3.45 billion to $3.6 billion, raising its 2026 revenue guidance to between $12.4 billion and $13.2 billion.
This strong performance comes as AI infrastructure demand continues to grow, with companies like IREN (IREN) and Cipher Digital (CIFR) also gaining 5% in value.
