Corporate Buyers Flock Back to Bitcoin as Prices Near $77,000
Bitcoin's price has remained steady near $77,000 as major corporate buyers have started to accumulate more BTC. This trend is evident in Japan, France, and the UK, where firms are diversifying their portfolios by selling other tokens and focusing on Bitcoin.
In Japan, Remixpoint, a diversified energy and technology company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has cleared out its entire altcoin book, holding only 1,506 BTC worth around $115.3 million. The company made a gain of approximately $737,000 from selling Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE) earlier this week.
The company's decision to liquidate its altcoin holdings was based on market conditions, risk profiles, and its financial strategy. Remixpoint has also been lending its Bitcoin, earning 14.92 BTC in fees between February 24 and August 31, valued at about $1 million.
