Corporate Buyers Return to Drive Bitcoin Market Amid Industry Consolidation

Corporate buyers have returned to drive the market after a prolonged period of silence. Two major players, Strive (ASST.US) and Strategy (MSTR.US), have resumed their Bitcoin accumulation, marking the re-establishment of market tone by the 'Bitcoin Treasury Model'. This round of corporate-led capital inflow has injected demand into the recently volatile crypto market and revealed a profound divergence within the industry: top-tier players are accelerating accumulation through aggressive leverage, while laggards are forced to exit amid drying liquidity.

The structural shift is not merely a cyclical recurrence but an inevitable outcome of dual screening based on capital efficiency and risk tolerance. Only institutions with strong financing capabilities and resilience to volatility will survive in the future. The macro-level price rebound provided a critical window for this round of accumulation, with Bitcoin trading near $78,600 and a cumulative gain of over 24% in August.

MicroStrategy, now renamed Strategy, founded by Michael Saylor, broke its ten-week buying silence last week, purchasing 4,603 BTC for $369.7 million, raising its total holdings to 845,050 BTC. Bitmine (BMNR.US), under Tom Lee, executed its largest Ethereum purchase since June, further confirming that digital asset treasury companies are collectively returning to an accumulation mode.

Publicly listed companies currently hold a total of approximately 1.264 million Bitcoin, involving 198 companies. However, holdings are highly concentrated: the top five publicly listed companies hold approximately 78.4% of the total Bitcoin, with Strategy alone accounting for over 66% of the share.
