Corporate Holders Sell Bitcoin, Price Dips 2%
Bitcoin's price took a minor hit yesterday after two major corporate holders, MARA Holdings and Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), disclosed Bitcoin sales. According to reports, MARA Holdings sold a portion of its BTC holdings to cover operational costs, while Strategy, the largest corporate holder, sold a small percentage of its treasury.
The sales added to market supply and investor caution, causing BTC's price to dip by 2% over the past 24 hours. As of the latest data, Bitcoin traded near $63,000, down from $64,300 a day earlier.
Despite the short-term impact, both companies have reiterated their long-term bullish stance on Bitcoin and stated that the sales are routine treasury management rather than a shift in sentiment.
