Cramer Sells Bitcoin Amid Quantum Computing Fears

Jim Cramer, host of CNBC's 'Mad Money', plans to sell his Bitcoin due to concerns over quantum computing. During a recent episode, he mentioned that IBM chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna had advised him to be 'paranoid' about the threat of quantum computing to cryptocurrencies in the next three to four years.

Cramer's decision comes as Bitcoin's price is up 1.7% on Tuesday, trading above $63,500, but down 27% year-to-date. The move has sparked a reaction from some crypto investors who have celebrated Cramer's remarks and are looking to capitalize on his investment calls.

Whale wallets are also selling their Bitcoin holdings as the crypto market liquidity dries up. A recent transfer of $1 billion worth of BTC by whale wallet bc1qpt has raised concerns about the health of the market.
