Cronos Halted After Tectonic Price Manipulation Attack
Cronos's network resumed operations after validators restored the chain state to a point before the Tectonic exploit.
The restoration, which began on August 30 at block 90,896,189, was triggered by an attack on the lending protocol Tectonic that allegedly pushed its price up by about 100 times.
About $6 million in assets reportedly reached Ethereum before the halt, while an estimated $75 million were affected overall, according to on-chain researcher Weilin Li's findings.
