Cronos Price Rallies After Blockchain Rollback Recovers Most Assets from Tectonic Exploit
Cronos (CRO) has seen its price rally after a $75 million exploit of the Tectonic protocol led to a blockchain rollback. The action, taken by Cronos validators, discarded over 10,000 blocks and restored the network's pre-hack state.
The rollback was successful in recovering most user assets, but around $6 million bridged to Ethereum remains unrecoverable, leaving residual risks.
As a result of the rollback, CRO has seen its price rise by 6.84% and is currently trading above its short- and medium-term moving averages.
The asset's technical indicators are overbought, with an expected range of $0.05474 to $0.05963, suggesting sideways movement in the short term.
