Crossover Markets Hits $2 Billion Milestone with BitGo Partnership
Crossover Markets' electronic communication network (ECN), CROSSx, has cleared over $2 billion in trades through BitGo's Go Network since its partnership went live in April 2025. This milestone was reached in roughly 17 months.
The partnership enables institutions to execute trades without touching client assets and settle them via BitGo's custody services, reducing counterparty risk. Adam Sporn, BitGo's Head of Prime Brokerage, frames the $2 billion figure as evidence of sustained institutional demand for infrastructure that prioritizes risk management and operational efficiency.
Crossover Markets reported nearly $5 billion in matched volumes in the year prior to this announcement, suggesting a significant share of its institutional flow is now routing through the BitGo settlement layer. This growth is attributed to the separation of execution and custody, which solves a practical problem around capital efficiency for institutions.
