Crypto Assets HYPE, XRP, and SOL Face Key Support and Resistance Amid Cooling Momentum
Hyperliquid (HYPE) is approaching the $100 mark but faces significant buying pressure to reach it, according to recent technical indicators. The token briefly touched $87 before retreating and currently trades at approximately $80.83. HYPE's momentum has cooled since its breakout, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) dropping back from overbought territory and volume waning.
The 20-day exponential moving average stands at about $71.67, while the 50-day and 100-day moving averages are near $63.21 and $61.97 respectively. This configuration indicates an overall bullish structure rather than a reversal against a broader bearish trend. For HYPE to reach $100, momentum will need to sustain another 24% advance from its current price.
XRP is testing its 200-day moving average at $1.35, a key level that recently switched from resistance to support after a surge from $1.00. Buyers are active, but falling momentum and shrinking volume suggest the outcome remains uncertain. A strong move above $1.50 would once again bring the previous highs into focus.
Solana (SOL) holds firm near the $100 level following its rapid August rally, with buyers preventing a daily close below this psychological threshold. SOL currently trades at about $102.70 after briefly dipping to roughly $100.90 during the pullback from $110.
