Crypto Billionaire Delo Donates Record £36m to Reform UK

Ben Delo, a British billionaire and co-founder of cryptocurrency platform BitMEX, has made a record £36 million donation to Reform UK, a significant boost to Nigel Farage's party. This is the largest single donation to a British political party on record.

The sum represents £1 million per month between now and 2029, but Delo has paid it upfront to avoid attempts to block it.

This move comes after a summer dominated by scrutiny of Reform UK's finances, including an ongoing criminal investigation into allegations it breached rules on political donations. Nigel Farage said he is 'humbled' that Delo has shown confidence in the party and believes they are the only one that can turn Britain around.
