Crypto-Billionaire Donates £36m to Reform UK

Share

Crypto-billionaire Ben Delo has donated £36m to Reform UK, making it the largest donation in the party's history.

The money comes from Delo, who was pardoned by Donald Trump for a banking secrecy violation and is also the co-founder of BitMEX.

Delo stated that he wants to create 'a fair fight' for Reform UK and allow the party to 'spend less time trying to raise funds to compete on equal terms and more time preparing for government.'

The donation dwarfs the previous record of £10m, set by Lord Sainsbury's gift to the Conservative Party in 2022.

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, said he was 'honoured and humbled' by the donation, stating that Delo knows the party is the only one that can turn the country around.
