Crypto Billionaires Pump £72m into Reform UK

Reform UK has received £72m in donations from two cryptocurrency billionaires. Ben Delo, co-founder of BitMEX, donated a record £36m, while Christopher Harborne matched it just days later.

Harborne is the party's biggest donor to date and has made substantial donations to both the Tories and the Brexit Party in the past.

In an official statement, Nigel Farage said he was 'honoured and humbled' by the donations, but Reform UK has denied any link between the funding and its support for deregulation of cryptocurrency in the UK or promotion of Tether, which Harborne is a shareholder in.
