Crypto Bro Shenanigans Flood SpaceX Investor Forum Ahead of Earnings Call
SpaceX, the rocket company founded by Elon Musk, is gearing up for its first earnings call as a public company. Ahead of the call, the company set up an online forum for investors to submit questions to executives.
The forum, which was built with SpaceX's AI tool Grok, has been filled with crypto references and memes. Many posts are promoting Baby Asteroid, a tiny cryptocurrency that briefly soared 262% in a four-hour period on July 31.
Some investors have expressed frustration with the deluge of crypto-promoting posts, calling for downvotes on questions that don't relate to actual investor concerns.
However, not all questions are frivolous. Some serious investors are asking about SpaceX's plans for orbital refueling and its contract with NASA to return humans to the moon.
