Crypto Card Spending Surges Past $1 Billion Monthly
The crypto card spending sector has reached an operational turning point in July 2026, breaking through the $1 billion monthly threshold for the first time. According to a report by analytics firm Gate Research, the exact monthly volume was approximately $1.038 billion across 10.5 million transactions settled during the analyzed period.
The cumulative growth during the first seven months of 2026 reached approximately $5.480 billion, exceeding the entire volume processed throughout 2025, which closed at $3.800 billion. The historical cumulative volume of the monitored projects exceeded $10 billion since March 2023.
Market distribution maintains a visible concentration among specific providers, with RedotPay processing more than $6 billion in cumulative volume, representing nearly 56% of the total recorded by analysts. Other issuers also showed significant shares in the consolidated metrics, including Ether.fi and KAST.
