Crypto Card Spending Surges Past $759 Million in Record-Breaking Month
Crypto card spending has reached new heights, surpassing $759 million in July 2026. This represents a significant increase of roughly 2.5 times from the same period last year, when spending was at $306 million.
The average transaction size stood at approximately $86, indicating that activity is spread across smaller purchases rather than large-value transfers.
The stablecoin duo USDC and USDT dominated crypto card spending, capturing 84% of the total. USDC accounted for about 58%, while USDT represented another 26%. This shift towards digital dollars highlights their growing importance in everyday transactions.
