Crypto Card Transactions Hit Record High Exceeding $759 Million
Cryptocurrency card transactions reached an all-time high in July 2026, exceeding $758.8 million, according to Finway. This represents a nearly 2.5-fold increase from the same period last year.
The main assets used for these transactions were dollar stablecoins USDC and USDT, which accounted for approximately 58% and 26% of all transactions, respectively. In contrast, USDT's share was only 7% in July 2025.
The average transaction value has also increased significantly, reaching $86. The number of purchases made using cryptocurrency payment cards grew from around 5.2 million a year ago to nearly 9 million in July 2026.
