Crypto Cards Transaction Volume Hits $10 Billion, Market Concentration Remains High
Crypto Cards have experienced explosive growth in recent years, with their cumulative transaction volume surpassing $10 billion. According to Gate Research, monthly trading volume has exceeded $1 billion, and over 10 million transactions occurred in July 2026.
The market is highly concentrated, with RedotPay's cumulative transaction volume exceeding $6 billion, accounting for approximately 56% of the tracked market. Ether.fi and KAST have also made significant strides, reaching around $754 million and $684 million respectively.
Gate Card stands out from its competitors by adopting a multi-region, multi-card product structure, connecting to payment accounts, spot accounts, and Simple Earn flexible-term balances. It offers instant spending, prepaid modes, and tiered cashback ranging from T0 to T5.
Crypto Cards primarily employ models such as prepaid top-up, instant conversion, stablecoin settlement, smart contract debiting, and crypto-collateralized credit. The market expansion is driven by five categories of demand: stablecoin holders seeking direct spending channels, cross-border workers needing to connect on-chain income with local living expenses, and enterprises requiring stablecoin treasury management tools.
Gate's account ecosystem, trading liquidity, and product synergies have created a competitive foundation for the Gate Card. Users can fund payments with stablecoins, BTC, ETH, exchange-issued tokens, or on-chain yield-bearing assets, transacting with merchants through networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
