Crypto.com Card Fees Changing October 1: Foreign Transaction Fee Applies to Higher Tiers
Crypto.com is making two changes to its card fees starting October 1, 2026. The foreign transaction fee will apply to users of Ruby Steel and Royal Indigo cards when spending in currencies like the British pound or Swiss franc outside the EU and UK.
The new fee will be 2% on amounts above a monthly allowance of €400 for Ruby Steel and €800 for Jade and Indigo. These allowances only apply to foreign currency transactions, not those within the EU or UK where the rate remains at 0.2%.
Additionally, Crypto.com is increasing its inactivity fee from €5 to €6 per month starting October 1, 2026. This fee will be charged after a card has been inactive for 12 months, meaning no payments have been initiated by the user during that time.
