Crypto.com Enters Traditional Finance with Tokenized Derivatives

Share

Crypto.com has launched tokenized derivatives tracking U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), marking its accelerated push into traditional finance. The launch, which began on December 12th, provides eligible users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and other permitted markets with access to approximately 1,500 instruments, including major U.S. stocks such as Apple (AAPL) and Nvidia (NVDA).

The derivatives are issued by Foris Capital CY Limited, an affiliate of Crypto.com, and offer synthetic exposure that directly tracks the price movements of the underlying stocks or ETFs.

Crypto.com acquired Foris Capital in May 2025, securing a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) license, which is essential for offering regulated financial products within the European Union. This move allows Crypto.com to formally enter the traditional securities space.
