Crypto.com Unleashes Round-the-Clock Trading on Tokenized US Stocks
Crypto.com has launched tokenized US stocks in Europe, making over 1,500 instruments available for trading around the clock. This move is part of the company's efforts to expand its offerings and provide users with greater flexibility.
The tokenized instruments are issued by Crypto.com's Cyprus entity, Foris Capital CY Limited, while the underlying shares are held in custody by a US-regulated self-clearing broker-dealer Alpaca. Trading is available outside standard market hours, with entry starting at $1.
Crypto.com's CEO, Kris Marszalek, stated that 'Money never sleeps. Market access shouldn’t either.' The trading opens on August 12, 2026, in the European Economic Area and other approved jurisdictions.
Tokenized stocks track the price of the underlying assets rather than conferring ownership or shareholder rights. Users may still qualify for dividend-equivalent adjustments. Alpaca supports more than 90% of the tokenized US stock and ETF market, according to Crypto.com.
