Crypto Companies Report Earnings Amid Token Price Volatility
Three major crypto companies, Bitdeer (BTDR), Forward Industries (FWDI), and Bit Digital (BTBT), are set to report their quarterly earnings this week. These firms have all experienced significant losses in the first quarter due to plummeting cryptocurrency prices.
Bitdeer will kick off the reporting season on Monday with its second-quarter 2026 results. The company reported a net loss of $159.5 million in Q1, largely due to weaker cryptocurrency prices. However, revenue rose to $188.9 million, and adjusted EBITDA remained positive at $14.4 million.
Bitdeer's shares have seen a significant surge during the second quarter, gaining around 83% compared to Bitcoin's 14.08% decline over the same period. The company's mining output also increased significantly, with June production reaching 990 BTC, up 388% year-over-year.
Forward Industries will report its fiscal third-quarter results on Wednesday. In Q2, the company posted a $283.1 million net loss due to Solana-related write-downs. Revenue more than quadrupled year-over-year to $13.0 million, despite the decline in SOL's price.
Bit Digital closes out the week with its earnings report on Thursday. The Ethereum treasury firm reported a net loss of $146.7 million last quarter due to a $121.1 million hit on digital assets. Revenue fell 13.6% to $27.9 million, but the company's stock still managed to rise about 37% in Q2.
