Crypto.com's Endless Changes Crush CRO Holders
Crypto.com continues to rewrite terms for CRO holders, further disappointing its loyal investors. The latest change comes in the form of slashing annual rewards on new CRO lockups by 25% or more. This move is part of a long history of broken promises and unfulfilled roadmaps for CRO.
Crypto.com's predecessor, Monaco, initially sold MCO with an asset contract funded by a 1% fee on certain transactions. However, this was later removed from the roadmap due to regulatory changes, leaving holders without a clear understanding of their token's value.
The company has continued to make changes to its rewards programs and infrastructure, further eroding trust among investors. The price of CRO has declined significantly over the past year, with a 75% drop in value thanks in part to Crypto.com's initiatives.
