Crypto Derivatives Market Sees $275M in Liquidations

The cryptocurrency derivatives market has seen a significant purge in the past 24 hours, with total liquidation volumes across major perpetual futures reaching approximately $275 million.

Bitcoin led the liquidation wave with $154.85 million in positions wiped out, of which a staggering 85.44% were long positions.

The concentration of long liquidations suggests that many traders had positioned for continued upside, only to face a sudden market downturn.
