Crypto ETF Demand Surges to New Heights
Investors are pouring money into cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) at an unprecedented pace. According to data from Farside Investors and SoSoValue, Bitcoin funds saw a net inflow of roughly $217 million on August 31, recovering from the previous day's $202 million outflow.
The rebound follows a brief pause in what had been one of the strongest institutional buying periods this year. A nine-session streak brought nearly $3 billion into Bitcoin funds before Friday's withdrawals snapped the run.
Solana's BSOL ETF has become the first U.S.-listed Solana ETF to cross the $1 billion asset threshold, with over $1 billion in cumulative net inflows through August 28. This milestone is notable given SOL's current price of around $102, roughly 65% below its January 2025 all-time high.
Ethereum products are also seeing sustained buying, with U.S. spot Ether ETFs attracting nearly $88 million in net inflows on Monday, marking the eleventh consecutive trading day of positive flows.
