Crypto Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) have seen a significant surge in demand as BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) attracted $3.7 billion this quarter, its strongest quarterly intake since the third quarter of 2025.

The inflows are part of a wider rebound across U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF products, with Bitcoin ETFs adding $3.52 billion in August and $3.8 billion over three weeks. The recent recovery has narrowed the sector's 2026 net deficit to roughly $1 billion from earlier losses.

The growth in IBIT's assets under management is substantial, increasing by about $19.6 billion or 46% since July began, reaching a level near its highest point since mid-May at approximately $62.6 billion.
