Crypto ETFs Attract Record $184.4 Million on August 19
Crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US continued their positive trend on August 19, according to Farside Investors. The category saw a net inflow of approximately $184.4 million into Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana products.
The spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a provisional $164.2 million in net inflows, extending the category's positive run following previous sessions on August 17 and 18. ARK 21Shares' ARKB led the reported Bitcoin flows with $77.7 million, followed by Bitwise's BITB at $35.6 million.
Grayscale's GBTC attracted $21.2 million, its lower-fee Bitcoin Mini Trust added $19.7 million, and Morgan Stanley's MSBT recorded $10 million in inflows. Importantly, flow figures for BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC were still unreported.
The $164.2 million figure is considered provisional due to the incomplete data. Nevertheless, even without outstanding issuer data, Bitcoin ETFs have now recorded at least $651 million in net inflows over the August 17-19 period, representing a substantial reversal from previous sessions.
