Crypto ETFs Soar to $2.07 Billion as Bitcoin and Ether Lead the Way
Crypto ETFs continued their strong performance this week, attracting a total of $2.07 billion in investments. Bitcoin and ether remained the top destinations for ETF capital, with bitcoin adding $924.48 million and ether drawing $824.42 million.
The biggest surprise came from solana, XRP, and HYPE exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which posted their strongest broad-based showing yet. Solana ETFs attracted $153.87 million, while XRP ETFs drew in $110.49 million. HYPE delivered an even sharper acceleration with weekly inflows reaching $56.86 million.
Blackrock led bitcoin ETFs to a strong performance this week, contributing $938.3 million in weekly inflows. Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust added $81.9 million, while Fidelity's FBTC brought in $62 million and Morgan Stanley's MSBT gained $25.3 million.
The macro backdrop remained rate-sensitive, with second-quarter U.S. GDP growing at a 1.5% annualized pace and July core PCE inflation holding steady at 3.3%. This has kept investors closely watching the Federal Reserve's policy decisions.
