Crypto ETFs Surge: Bitcoin Price Hits $81,000 Amid Record Inflows
BTC has surged above $81,000 as $448M in short positions were liquidated following significant inflows into Bitcoin ETFs.
The largest single-day inflow since January, with a total of $730.9 million, was recorded on Thursday. This marked the third-biggest haul for crypto ETFs this year and brought the cumulative net inflows to $55.44 billion since launch.
BlackRock's IBIT led the charge with $454M, making up 62% of the total inflow, followed by ARKB with $137.7 million and Fidelity's FBTC adding $74.4 million. Only VanEck's HODL and WisdomTree's BTCW saw outflows.
