Crypto Exchanges Bet Big on Stock-Index Perpetuals
Crypto exchanges are expanding their offerings to include stock-index perpetuals, allowing traders to speculate on Wall Street price moves without leaving the crypto space.
This trend is driven by growing demand from crypto-native traders who want exposure to stocks without opening a separate brokerage account or holding real shares.
Exchanges see this as an opportunity for new revenue streams as traditional trading volume matures and slows down.
Platforms like Bitget, Binance, Bybit, OKX, and KuCoin have already added stock-index perpetuals to their offerings, with Bitget listing over 300 real-world asset contracts, making up close to 40 percent of its futures lineup.
