Crypto Exchanges Break Down Traditional Barriers to Stock Market Participation
MEXC has launched 'Trade Wall Street Without Walls', a campaign highlighting how crypto-native trading is reducing traditional barriers to stock market participation. This comes as 74.2% of surveyed users with traditional finance experience have shifted some or all of their activity to crypto exchanges, citing limited trading hours and high fees as major frustrations.
The campaign emphasizes the shift in user expectations towards more flexible and accessible market experiences. It highlights five traditional market 'walls' that have historically shaped retail participation: access, fee, time, capital, and direction walls. MEXC's evolution reflects this change with a growing range of stock-related products and participation models across different market stages.
'The biggest change is not simply that more traditional assets are becoming available on crypto platforms,' said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. 'It is that the way retail users access and trade those assets is changing.'
