Crypto Exchanges with No KYC: Who Made the Cut
A recent study by CoinGape analyzed 10 cryptocurrency exchanges to identify those that offer the most no-KYC (know-your-customer) freedom. RoboSats, Uniswap, and SimpleSwap were among the top performers in this category.
The scoring system used by CoinGape evaluated exchanges based on their verified KYC-freedom depth, trust and track record, custody and security model, privacy stack, costs, and usability and asset coverage. Each exchange was scored from 0 to 10 across these six pillars, with the strongest emphasis placed on what users can do without completing KYC.
The study found that RoboSats, Uniswap, and SimpleSwap offer a high degree of no-KYC freedom, with each trade using a fresh, randomly generated identity on RoboSats. Uniswap also allows for crypto-to-crypto swaps without KYC, although fiat on-ramp purchases require identity verification.
