Crypto Firms Rush to Capture Trillions in Traditional Trading Market
Crypto firms are rapidly expanding into traditional financial markets, with some of them aiming to become 'everything exchanges' that offer trading in digital assets, stocks, derivatives, prediction markets, and tokenized securities.
According to Coinbase's Everything Exchange strategy, the company plans to broaden its platform beyond cryptocurrencies into tokenized US stocks, perpetual futures, options, prediction markets, and AI-powered trading. The goal is to combine traditional and digital assets in one ecosystem.
Ryanair competitor airline company Spirit Airlines has filed for bankruptcy, meanwhile Robinhood reported a record USD 1.31 billion revenue in the second quarter of this year, while total platform assets increased by 32% year over year to USD 369 billion.
