Crypto Founders Predict AI Agents Will Dominate Economy Within Years
Brian Armstrong, CEO and Co-founder of Coinbase, is among many cryptocurrency founders who seem optimistic about AI agents. In a recent post on X, he shared that AI agents will outnumber people in the economy within years to come.
Armstrong asked his followers when they predict the 'Agentic Finance flippening' would happen, defined as when agent-to-agent payment volume exceeds human-to-human volume.
This statement comes after Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum's CEO, acknowledged the rise of AI agents and discussed how the Ethereum network can provide solutions for them to carry out negotiations and settlements.
Other leading founders such as Jeremy Allaire from Circle and Changpeng Zhao from Binance have also made positive declarations about AI agents.
