Crypto Funds Flooded with $731M as Bitcoin Surges Above $80K
U.S. Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw massive inflows on Thursday, totaling $730.87 million, as the price of Bitcoin broke above $80,000.
This is the third-largest single-day influx for Bitcoin ETFs in 2026 and comes after a surge in demand driven by the cryptocurrency's rising price.
Blackrock's IBIT dominated the move with $453.96 million in fresh capital, followed closely by Ark & 21Shares' ARKB at $137.74 million and Fidelity's FBTC at $74.45 million.
The influx of institutional money into Bitcoin ETFs drove trading value across these funds to $4.77 billion and pushed net assets back above $100 billion, reaching $103.34 billion.
Ether ETFs also saw significant inflows on Thursday, bringing in $141.39 million, led by Blackrock's ETHA at $72.07 million and Fidelity's FETH at $65.11 million.
XRP and Solana ETFs added to the broad-based gains, with XRP funds recording $6.14 million in inflows and Solana funds bringing in $6.40 million.
